Stainless Steel Fixing Strip Per Metre

Stainless steel fixing strip is used instead of copper in situations requiring greater rigidity. Also used to secure lead sheet flashings and panels in roofing and cladding applications.

Stainless steels natural resistance to corrosion, rigidity and compatibility with Lead makes it ideal for long-term outdoor use.

Stainless Steel fixing stripes pre-cut into smaller lengths and installed typically at intervals of 500mm.

Uses:

• Prevents lead flashings from lifting in high winds or pulling out of chases
• Common in roofing, chimney flashings, and masonry interfaces
• Its rigidity provides a firm support where clips are fixed only at one end making it ideal for use fitting lead flashing over glass roofs
• Used to fit lead sheet in conjunction with hall clips, and annular ring shank nails
