Copper Annular Ring Shank 25mm Nails

Annular ring shank [ARS] nails are purpose-designed fixings used to securely attach lead sheet and associated components including copper and stainless steel fixing strip to timber substrates in roofing and cladding applications. Copper and stainless steel is used to prevent corrosion.

The ringed shank of the nail grips the substate whereas normal smooth shanked nails will pull out due to thermal movement of the lead sheet.

The shaft must be no less than 3.35mm diameter, 25mm being the most common length, supplied in 1 kg bags.

Uses:

•  Fastens lead sheet at laps, edges, and junctions, nailed directly to timber
• Fixing copper or stainless steel fixing clips
